Will started off his career in the resource management section of a large national law firm. Before going out on his own he worked for NZ's largest not for profit conservation organization. 

Will's experience includes the Marlborough Environment Plan (Environment Court), Northland Regional Plan (Environrment Court), Dunedin CIty Plan (Environrment Court), Amberfields Subdivision (Environment Court), and Te Kuha Coal Mine (Envionrment Court).

Will has worked as both a prosecutor and as a defense counsel on matters ranging from large complex white collar crime cases to the simplest of traffic matters. Whatever it is that affects your life, Will can help. 

 As a prosecutor Will was responsible for many animal welfare prosecutions. He was also involved with the judicial review application before the High Court on rodeos in New Zealand. 

Will is also a strong advocate lobbying for different organisations on the governements codes of welfare. Will has an intricate knowledge of the development of codes of animal welfare.

As a previous senior prosecutor for a large government agency, Will brings years of experience should you be facing any issues from the government. Will can assist with regulatory prosecutions or infringements whatever the case may be. This can include work safe, forests, firearms, fisheries, civil aviation or any number of regulatory actions.

Previously working at a large firm that advised local councils WIll has a wealth of knowledge about how local governments operate and their requirements. This area sits outside of environmental and deals more with local roads, parks, water supply, drainage and long term plans. Will is well placed to assist you with your dealings with local councils.  

Will has a vast knowledge of New Zealand fisheries laws and regulations. Will has been involved in all levels of fisheries regulations, from undertaking prosecutions to advising on the drafting of regulations.
